When I am with her I am restored. I come away with the heat of her sun under my skin and the beat of her drums pulsing in my veins. I come away cleansed by the salt of her sea. My breath is stolen by the colors of her landscape and I am held by the warmth of my people. No matter how long I’ve been away and no matter the reason, upon each return she welcomes me home.
This necklace was named for one of the many beautiful towns in my little island of Puerto Rico. The combination of white pearls and multi-colored beads reminded me of the typical dresses seen in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and much of the Caribbean. We carry on a beautiful tradition of honoring the island by wearing her colors as often as we can.
Each necklace is 16" with a 2" extender chain. This is a handmade piece so please handle with care. Can be worn by men or women.
